FAQ: Your Guide to The Top

Have questions about my e-content strategy and writing services? I answer a handful of frequently asked questions below.  If you don’t see the answer you seek, please connect with me here or at 646-926-7678.

What industries do you have experience in?

Video post production, fitness, rock climbing, cloud-based software.

I tap my experience as a certified instructor in the video post-production world to craft savory e-content strategies and pieces that are easy for your audience to digest.

I adapted the assessments I used as a personal trainer and wellness coach to solve client e-content challenges.

Since 2007, rock climbing has not only helped me decompress, but has trained me in the fine art of focus, determination and finesse – skills I apply to each client project.

What types of projects do you handle?

I help clients in two ways – as an e-content strategist and online copywriter.

As a copywriter, I specialize in nurturing past, present and future customers through blog posts, e-newsletters, customer success stories, and landing pages.

As a strategist, I review digital content – websites, email campaigns, and social media – and publish a comprehensive review and roadmap. Or I build a custom, do-it-yourself marketing toolkit.

Do you write sales copy too?
Since a goal of online marketing is to shorten the sales cycle, I’ve studied traditional copywriting.  I’m well versed in writing successful email campaigns as well as traditional sales letters and landing pages. So…

Yep, I can write your sales copy too.

How much do you charge?

It depends. Each project is unique. After we discuss your needs and scope, I’ll submit a proposal with an initial estimate.

I charge a flat fee that we agree on, in writing, before the project begins. This fee includes research, content, and revisions submitted within 30 days of first draft submission.

Since I don’t charge by the hour, you’ll know exactly how much the project will cost before we start. No surprises as the project unfolds.

How long will it take to complete my project?

It depends.

I know. My students roll their eyes at this response, too.

Project scope, creative briefs, research needs, and number of phone conversations all influence delivery time.

Regardless, I will hit agreed upon deadlines.

How do you handle revisions?
I welcome revisions. I’m not satisfied with your web content until you are. Your fixed rate quote includes any revisions –  as long as the request is made within 30 days of receiving your first draft, and the requests don’t change the scope of your project.
Do you guarantee your copy will result in the sales I want?
I would love to, but I can’t control how your audience will respond to your product or service and its pricing. So I can’t guarantee sales numbers.

I can guarantee that you’ll be satisfied if not elated with my work.

I have a tight deadline to meet. Can you start my project right away?

Possibly. I’m typically working on several projects. And just like with yours, I have deadlines to honor.

Don’t hesitate to contact me with your needs. I will squeeze in your project as long as I can devote enough time to create the highest quality content possible.

What do you need to get started on a project?

After we’ve met over the phone and established your project’s scope and deadline.  I’ll send you the following:

  1. Project quote with fee agreement.
  2. Questionnaire and creative brief request.

Once I receive the signed fee agreement and initial payment, I’ll start your project.

Your creative brief and answers to the questionnaire helps me lead your project in the right direction.

How do I team up with you?
You’re welcome to email me at m@mariannekpost or call me at 646-926-7678. Unless travel constraints prevent web connection, I’ll get back to you within 24 hours of receiving your request.
